Mabel Teves Bugado, 96, of Honokaa died July 20 at Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua. Born in Honokaa, she was a homemaker and member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and Honokaa Senior Citizens. Visitation 9-11 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 9) at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Honokaa. Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Urn burial to follow at church cemetery. Casual attire. Adrian Cuchapin Casil, 53, of Pepeekeo died Aug. 21 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Paul Saturnino Conol, 76, of Mountain View died Aug. 14 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hakalau, he was a retired plumber at Kilauea Military Camp, former employee of Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co., pig hunter and fisherman. Doris Tokiko Hanoa, 81, of Hilo died Aug. 21 at home. Born in Honolulu, she was the owner of Bob’s Fencing and member of Hilo Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Amy E. Matsuzawa, 90, of Kailua-Kona died July 22 in Hilo. Born in Kealakekua, she was an accountant for Red Onion Restaurant and other organizations in Los Angeles. Hisao “Jim” Okimoto, 85, of Papaikou, died Aug. 9 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Onomea, he was a retired dispatcher for HPM Building Supply and member of Papaikou Hongwanji Mission and Onomea Kumiai. Services held. Survived by wife, Asayo Okimoto of Papaikou; daughters, Coleen Okimoto and Claudia Okimoto of Papaikou; brother, George Y. Alan Hale Shattuck, 83, of Waimea died Aug. 2 at home. Born in Gowanda, N.Y.,, he was a successful business partner in Waipio Valley Artworks in Kukuihaele, retired U.S. Air Force veteran and Virginia Military Institute alumnus. Visitation 8:30-10 a.m. Saturday (September 9) at Annunciation Catholic Church in Waimea. Funeral mass at 10 a.m. Inurnment with military honors 11:45 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 28) at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery in Kailua-Kona. Reception to follow at Anna Ranch in Waimea. No flowers.
