Elena Marie Barsanti, 50, of Keaau died July 24 at home. Born in Wakefield, Mass., she was an artist and musician who sold baked goods and sang at the Hilo Farmers Market. Edward Robert Clark, 56, of Pahoa died July 11 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Denver, he owned the former Golden Vacuum Co. No services. Survived by brother, Bill Clark of Golden, Colo.; hanai brother, Tom Swenarton of Pahoa. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Yasuko “Marian” Hatada, 92, of Hilo died July 14 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Papaikou, she was a housewife. Private services held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by sons, Roy (Geraldine) Hatada of Honolulu and Earl (Judy) Hatada of Hilo; brothers, Iwao Watanabe, Tsuneo Watanabe and Katsumi Watanabe of Honolulu; sister, Aileen Fujihara of Honolulu; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces and cousins. Constance “Connie” Marie Riddle, 87, of Hilo died Aug. 1 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Champaign, Ill., she was a retired schoolteacher and librarian and member of United Community Church, Hawaii Island Retired Teachers Association and Senior Nutrition Center. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Monday (Aug. 7) at United Community Church, 1110 Kinoole St. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Graveside service and burial at a later date in Smithland, Iowa. Casual attire. Survived by brother, Lawrence (Sue) Riddle of Republic, Mo.; sister, Christine (Roger) Larson of Prairie Village, Kan.; nieces, a nephew and grandnephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Julia “Pua” Hanapuakoolau Yonemura, 81, of Kailua-Kona died June 17 at home. Born in Kealakekua, she was a retired cocktail waitress for King Kamehameha Hotel, professional hula dancer, former bartender for Kona Inn Resort and member of Kohala Gospel of Salvation. Celebration of life 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at Hawaii Big Game Fishing Club at Honokohau Boat Harbor. Service at 11 a.m. Luncheon to follow. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by son, Kenneth (Pamela) Yonemura Jr. of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Emmalani Berdon of North Kohala, Lorelei Jones of Kailua-Kona and Cindy (Dan) Thrasher of Des Moines, Iowa; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
