Seijin Hokama, 96, of Hilo died Dec. 27 at Hawaii Care Choices’ (formerly Hospice of Hilo) Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired electrician for HT&T and member of Hui Okinawa, Pohakulani Kumiai, SeniorNet and Christ Lutheran Church. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Tuesday (Jan. 9) at Christ Lutheran Church, 595 Kapiolani St. in Hilo. Celebration of life at 11 a.m. Urn burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire; no flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Patricia “Tish” Ann Rockwood, 61, of Waimea died Dec. 29. Born in Parsons, Kan., she was a world traveler who loved her family and animals. Private memorial service. No flowers. Born in Hilo, he was a truck driver, worked for Makuu Farmers Market Association and was a member of Sure Foundation Church. Private services at a later date. Memorial service for the late Harry Toshio Hori is at 10:30 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 6) at Paauilo Kongoji Mission. The place was twice submitted incorrectly for a previously published obituary.
