Born in Hilo, he was a retired laborer and member of Laborers’ International Union of North America Local 368 Hawaii and Kuhio Chapel in Keaukaha. Visitation 5-9 p.m. Friday (Nov. 24) at Haili Congregational Church. Wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation again 9-10 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 25) at the church. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire.     Bernice (Kauhi) Berdon, 86, of Waimea died Oct. 29 at home. Born in Waipio Valley, she was a retired florist and farmer.
